| 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful  A Worthy Upgrade,  This review is from: Delta 19981-SSSD-DST Berkley Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Magnatite and Soap Dispenser, Stainless (Tools & Home Improvement) I got this to replace our existing Delta pull-out faucet that came with our new house (2010). This one matches the rest of the other Delta faucets throughout the house. We like the higher clearance for cleaning large pots, and the pull-down wand is much more ergonomic than the old pull-out. The wand is hidden within the faucet's spout, so the finish is more seamless and sleeker than most of the other pull-downs. The neck's rotation is very smooth, too (360 degrees). Installation was pretty easy; just took an hour being it was my first time installing a kitchen faucet along with custom water line fit connections. A soap dispenser also came with this kit (not installed). For the price and Delta's experience in the business, I'm surprised it didn't have a few more features such as a spot resistant finish, a pause button on the wand, or even a niftier wand return mechanism like Moen's Haysfield. So easy to use. Everyone that comes to look at our new kitchen comments on how much they love the faucet. It has above sleek look since there isn't a seem, like so many other pull down faucets have. We would definitely recommend this product. We didn't have the soap dispenser installed so we're not sure how that is. We had issues with our last soap dispenser & decided to go without one this time. Plus the faucet has more of a sleek look without it. |
